Sunfly Karaoke
Exhibition stand at PLASA 2002 – Earl’s Court, London

Sunfly is the global brand for Karaoke soundtracks. When facing the introduction of their new catalogue and their move into DVD publishing, Sunfly decided it was time to feature their products at this massive, market-leading trade show – one of the biggest of its type in the world.

MST Exhibitions were commissioned to build a stand which gave visitors the chance to have a go on the one hand and to enjoy Sunfly's hospitality on the other. The 40m² space was split to provide a performance stage with starcloth backdrop, moving lights and smoke FX at one end and a hospitality bar/help counter at the other. Café-style seating and tables divided the two areas.

MST Exhibitions also provided the AV, sound and DVD playback systems as well as two cameras which showed the singers live onto a 61" Plasma fitted to the starcloth backdrop. Song lyrics/videos were played onto two 42" overhead Plasmas, one for the singer and one for the visitors. Special performances during each day were made by look-alike 'Robbie' and 'Britney' singers. The stand drew huge interest from many hundreds of visitors and performers alike.
